food and definitely a new experience as we’ve
never done that in a restaurant before. The
meat was so full of flavour. We then opted to
test out all of the fried chicken and we mean
all - we had the dark soy chicken, sweet chilli
chicken (which had quite the kick to it),
origional fried chicken and seasoned fried
chicken. Each one was as good as the next
and we can highly recommend those.
Especially when dipped in one of the chefs
homemade sauces - which were soya sauce
wth crushed pears, katsu sauce, sweet chilli
sauce and honey and mustard sauce. The
katsu sauce is the BEST sauce in the whole

world. We then went on to
try the dolsot bimbim bap
- pork bulgogi and all we
have to say to that is WOW.
This included
marinated pork, rice,
mixed vegetables and a
fried egg. Everything about
this dish was exceptional,
the flavours, the
presentation, the meat,
we loved it. Lastly there
was pudding. How we had
room for anymore food we
were unsure, but for
research purposes -
pudding is a must. We had
the nutella pancakes and
they were well worth saving
a little bit of space for.
When you go to K Star you
have try out the Korean
drinks that they have to
offer. We went for quite a
few things; Jinro Soju (rice
vodka), Hite beer (pale
larger) and Korean
traditional rice wine. All of
these were very different,
but we liked them a lot. We
especially liked a milk and
yoghurt fizzy drink, which
we didn’t think would
be nice, but it was so
refreshing and tasted great.
This would most definitely
be our frist choice on a hot
summers day.
Everything at K Star is
freshly made on the day,
including the sauces and
marinades. So you are
getting the best ingredients
and fantatsic taste.
100% recommend K Star.
