Jessica McNab
shares her
favourite places
in Eastbourne
How long have you lived in
Eastbourne?
I’m born and bred in Eastbourne. I
have lived here all my life.
Where is your favourite
breakfast place in Eastbourne?
Nothing beats sitting outside in
the sun (especially at the moment)
looking out at the sea enjoying
coffee and breakfast at The Beach
Deck. My absolute favourite
breakfast is eggs benedict and this
place serves one of the best, in my
opinion.
Where is your favourite place for
dinner?
I adore Thai food, so my go to
restaurant is Thai Terre in East
Dean. The food is amazing and
is to die for. I always order the
chicken pad Thai.
Where do you go for drinks?
It has to be The Loft, especially
when they have a band playing.
The best nights involve a table full
of my favourite girls and a bottle
or three of prosecco.
Where is your favourite place in
Eastbourne for a date night?
A night out at Athens Greek
Steakhouse is a must for a fun
date night. The food is delicious,
authentic homemade Greek food.
Everything smells and tastes
amazing. The evening almost
always ends with the owners singing
karaoke, all dressed up and the
odd glass of ouzo is given out.
Where do you take people when
they come to visit?
We always like to take people to
The Farm. There is always something
on the menu for everyone
and it is so inviting inside. The
burger or steak is my favourite
meal, with a large glass of red wine
of course.
What is your perfect day off in
Eastbourne?
Enjoying a coffee in Gildredge
Park at Love All Cafe while the
kids play. I also recommed one
of their huge salads, followed by
a slice of carrott cake - of course.
The kids love the food there as
well. Then heading down to
the seafront for an afternoon of
walks, stone throwing and a quick
paddle in the sea, followed by fish
and chips on the beach.
