What we love about the avo on
toast - it’s not just your average
slice of bread It’s a chunky slice of
bread, which is what you want on
a Saturday morning.
The avocado is seasoned with salt,
pepper, chilli flakes and drizzled
with olive oil, which makes for a
really flavoursome crushed
avocado with a slight kick thanks
to the chilli flakes.
This breakfast option with all the
add ons not for the faint hearted.
You have to be hungry for this option
as it is huge.
Everything that is served is made
fresh on that day by Amy herself.
Nothing is pre-made and simply
heated up.
At Amy’s Cafe they use fresh
quality ingredients including
bread from the local bakery and
meat from the local butcher. So
you know you’re getting the best
of the best.
It’s also important to note that
everything at Amy’s is priced so
well especially when you consider
the huge portion sizes that you
get.
The pancakes, crispy bacon and
including ice-cream was just
£5.50. The avocado on toast with
poached eggs and crispy bacon
was only £6. Did you see how
chucky that bread was and how
much avocado was used? Very
good prices.
The cost of a fry up starts at just
£3.50 and you can get a huge
portion of eggy bread for just £3.
The cafe is open everyday (except
Tuesdays). Weekdays they open at
8.30am until 2.30pm and
weekends they open at 9am
closing at 3pm.
