Before After
Now of course, we couldn’t just
tell you how amazing The Francis
Clinic is and leave it at that. Our
editor booked in to have her lips
done, so that she could share the
experience and the results.
I went to The Francis Clinic, back
in July. I decided that I would like
to try lip fillers as my lips
(especially my top) have been
getting thinner the older I get.
Now in my 30s, I definitely
thought that it was time to do
something about it. I decided to
go with The Francis Clinic as I
have followed Rebecca’s work on
Instagram for quite some time
now, and I also chose her because
she is medically qualified, so I
knew that I was in safe hands.
I arrived at The Francis Clinic,
where I was greeeted by Rebecca.
I was asked to fill out a form to
read read about the procedure and
make sure I understood what was
going to happen. Then it was time
to pop on the numbing cream,
which is amazing. It started
working instantly. It was such a
weird sensation, like your lips
were there, but not at the same
time. Whilst the cream was
doing it’s thang, I spoke to
Rebecca about what I expected
from her and what I would like to
achieve with my lips. I was
pretty clueless to be honest - I
wanted my lips a bit bigger, but
not so anyone would notice.
Then Rebecca let me know how
she would achieve that and what
techniques she would be
using.
After that, my lips were numb and
ready to go. I was super nervous
in terms of what kind of pain to
expect. Rebecca was great - she
assured me that the pain wouldn’t
be unbearable and that it is more
of a discomfort than anything else
and she let me know what was
going on at all times. Including
how to breathe whilst the
procedure was being carried out. I
100% worked myself up and to be
fair it was virtually painless. I was
aware that a needle was going into
my lip, but it didn’t hurt the way I
expected it to.
Rebecca went with 1.1 ml of
Revolax for my first time, which
she informed me would not make
me look like Kylie Jenner, but
would give me lovely natural
looking lips. She used the
microdroplet technique and it was
over within ten minutes. Rebecca
then checked the symmetry of my
lips by asking me to pout and then
she gave them a quick massage.
And then it was all done.
I was then told about what
aftercare was needed. And all
about the swelling and bruising
that I might experience.
I loved my day one lips, I couldn’t
stop looking at them.
Day two lips were swollen and
I loved them even more. By day
three I got some brusing, but
that was nothing a bit of lipstick
couldn’t cover up. The first couple
of days feels so weird. Like your
lips aren’t really yours. Now three
weeks later I absolutely love them.
On a personal note, I actually
really enjoyed getting my lips done
So far, no one has actually noticed,
unless i’ve told them. I’ve had a
few comments on how great i’m
looking at the moment and friends
have asked what has changed.
For all those first timers, who are
on the fence, because you might
be scared of the outcome. The
Francis Clinic want you to look
your best. They aim to give you
exactly what you want in terms of
the finished product.
I will 100% be getting my lips
done again with The Francis
Clinic and I can definitely
recommend them.
