We arrived to the pub at around midday and we
were seated on one side of the pub, with the tele off
(the rugby was on, on the other side, which there is
nothing wrong with. Just stating that just because
it is a rugby pub, doesn’t mean you’ll get screens in
your face and lots of noise)
The menu at The Victoria is vast and pub food at
it’s best. They have a whole burger menu, which
goes above and beyond what most pub kitchens
would offer and they have a huge vegan
menu to boot, which we know will
make some of our readers incredibly
happy.
We had the Chilli Burger - this burger
certainly fills the spot and a chilli
burger is probably the best way to have
a burger.
It was amazing, We can’t think of an
other word other than amazing
The portion sizes were great and there
was no scrimping on anything. There
was nothing left, we ate it all and we’re
not even ashamed.
Amy’s kitchen also caters for
vegetarians and vegans with some
great looking menus avaialble for you to
choose from.
The Victoria also has a very well kept
secret - a beer garden. If the men are
watching the rugby inside and the sun
is shining - you can go out in the beer
garden, have a sunbathe and enjoy.
They’ve also covered it with fairy lights,
so we can’t wait to go back when it’s in
the evening. It will look so pretty. And a
complete and utter suntrap. It looks
really lovely, so make sure to check it
out one Summer’s evening.
We left the pub feeling happy and
content and planning our next visit,
because there are a lot of burgers that
need testing out - for research purposes
of course *insert the winky eye emoji
here*
