Naomi Adams
shares her
favourite places
in Eastbourne
How long have you lived in
Eastbourne?
I have lived in Eastbourne all my
life but it’s always surprising me
for new places to eat.
Where is your favourite
breakfast place in Eastbourne?
My favourite breakfast place has to
be Nelsons. They do great coffee,
always fast service and their veggie
brekkie is amazing! Their pan-cakes
are a favourite of mine too.
Where is your favourite place for
dinner?
It has to be Half Man Half Burger!
Would highly recommend their
vegan bean burger, rosemary fries
and halloumi devils fingers. Such
a relaxed atmosphere and always
good food.
Where do you go for drinks?
I’d normally go to ECC for one
of their espresso martini’s. Their
cocktail menu can keep you going
all night and every time I’ve been
the music has been great.
Where is your favourite place in
Eastbourne for a date night?
For a cosy atmosphere on date
night it would have to be The
green almond, freshly cooked
great vegetarian food, they also
do vegan and gluten free options.
In the evenings it’s a 3 course set
menu for £20 and the portions are
generous so great value for such
nice food, last time I went I had no
room for dessert.
Where do you take people when
they come to visit?
I would normally take anyone who
comes to visit to The little elephant
for Thai food. They have a large
menu for loads of choice
depending on what you fancy.
The tofu Thai green curry and
coconut rice is the best!
What is your perfect day off in
Eastbourne?
My perfect day off in Eastbourne
if the weather is nice has to be a
walk on the downs followed by a
pub lunch at the George Inn in Al-friston,
in the summer they have
a lovely garden to sit in and in the
winter a cosy fire to warm up by
with a varied menu and something
for everyone.
