We’re happy to have cheese in just
about everything and this was
great. Just add butter, cream and
jam (in that order) and you’re
winning. The plain scone was the
most perfect scone we’ve ever
tasted. It was still warm and warm
scones are life!
And now onto the naughty plate.
The treats included a glittery chocolate
brownie (amazing), a pecan
maple danish (first one we’ve ever
had and it won’t be our last) and a
pistachio macaron.
Each one was great, however you
just can’t beat a chocolate brownie
- save that one till last.
You obviosuly get pot of tea with
your afternoon tea and you have
a selection of teas to choose from;
English breakfast tea, Early grey,
Assam, Ceylon, Green tea and
fruit tea.
The prosecco we had was really
great and we 100% recommend it.
It was Prosecco Fizzante, Rionda,
which is a light style of prosecco
and on the wine list of many
Michelin star restaurants around
the world, including The Fat Duck.
You have to book in advance for
your afternoon tea. There are two
choices available which are the
standard afternoon tea which is
£23pp or you can opt for the
bottomless prosecco afternoon tea,
which is £42pp.
