How long have you lived in
Eastbourne?
I’ve lived in Eastbourne for pretty much
all of my life. I moved away for a couple
of years for university, but I moved back
afterwards and I’m now about to buy my
first home here.
Where is your favourite
breakfast place in Eastbourne?
It has to be Nelson’s! The food is so
delicious - my favourite is the vegetrain
breakfast with the addition of their
bubblea and squeak rosit’s.
Where is your favourite place for
dinner?
One of my favourite dinner places is the
Thai Village in Willingdon. They have
lots of dishes to choose from and i’ve
never been disappointed. They also have
a great lunchtime offer - three courses for
under £10.
Where do you go for drinks with
the girls?
On a girls night out we always head for
The Loft, usually for a round (or two) of
Pornstar Martinis.

Favourite place in Eastbourne
for a date night?
The ultimate date night destination in
Eastbourne has to be Cru. If you haven’t
been before you have to go! The food is
incredible. I recently tried the ‘Cru Big
Mac Burger’ and WOW I need to try it
again.They also do great charchuterie
boards, which are perfect with a bottle
of wine. They have something like 200
different wines to choose from, which
may seem overwhelming, but the staff are
really knowledgeable and are able to recommend
the ideal wine to suit your taste.
My favourite place to eat in Eastbourne
for sure!
Where do you take people when
they come to visit?
We tend to go to The Spice Garden which
is an Indian restaurant in Old Town. It’s
my go to for a curry and it was recently
voted Curry House of the Year. It’s in a
great location with The Lamb and The
Counting House just down the road so
you can go for a few drinks afterwards.

What is your perfect day off in
Eastbourne?
My perfect day off would include a morning
stroll along the seafront with a coffee
at The Beach Deck, it’s great in the Summer
as you can sit outside. Followed by a
bit of retail therapy in town and lunch at
a local pub. The Pilot in the Meads and
The Red Lion in Willingdon are my top
picks. The roasts at The Pilot are incredible,
you definitely won’t be leaving there
dissappointed.
Pretty much all of my family live in
Eastbourne, so that’s definitely the reason
why I love living here. I’d hate to be to
far away from them. I enjoy living by the
sea , especially when the sun is shining;
I definitely think it is something that we
take for granted.
