The Royal Hippodrome is reopening next month with a Christmas schedule
The Royal Hippodrome will be reopening this December, which is HUGE news as they have been shut for the majority of the year.
They will be back up and running with some Christmas performances especially for you. Now we bet you thought that you wouldn’t be able to get your Christmas pantomime fix didn’t you? Well you can – it’ll be virtual – so not the same, but still good fun.
They are hosting a Bigfoot Arts Education’s virtual pantomime of Sleeping Beauty which is being filmed at TRH and will be available for you to stream from Dec 21st – 31st.
Next up they will open for live performances of This Christmas Show.
The show will be a ‘Trapdoor Productions’, in association with ‘The Rattonians’, and will be a fun filled, socially distanced evening of entertainment, which is sure to get everyone in the festive spirit. With your host – Grant Martins – and a small cast of professionals, you will be treated to a spectacular one act mix of song, dance and comedy.
Thanks to a Culture Recovery Grant from The Arts Council, they have been able to ensure that The Royal Hippodrome is Covid Secure, both for patrons and performers alike.
