We headed on down to Zizis a couple of days a go for a birthday lunch. We love it there because you know what you’re getting, it comes pretty quickly and the staff are lovely. Also they are pretty accommodating when toddlers are crawling under tables, making a mess and generally just being kiddies.
They do a great little kids menu, which you can check out online here. It’s around the £7 mark and includes starters and a main. We didn’t get any pictures of their food – because they were starving a couldn’t wait another second. The starter was a little stock of bread and some veg to pick at and then came the main – one big yummy pizza. That they gobbled up quickly and they definitely had room for more – so we of course had cake.
Olives to start – they had pips in le sigh!
This pizza was from the skinny pizza menu, which is just a selection of lighter pizzas under 500 calories. Also you get a little side salad with the pizza which is nice. The pizza itself tasted like any other pizza – so so so yummy – we would definitely recommend this one.
Now this pizza was huge – absolutely huge! So so huge! Did we mention is was pretty big! Ha! Lovely pizza – also one to try when you visit. It’s even better when you add chips.
Unfortunately the salad wasn’t that great really – but thats what happens when you should be eating pizza instead. This salad was from the skinny menu and we wouldn’t recommend it – just go for the good stuff (pizza) instead. Also it would have been so much easier to cut everything up and actually eat it if it was on a plate instead of a bowl.
If you do visit soon – we strongly recommend the garlic bread and 100% recommend the caramalised garlic bread. In fact skip the mains and just pig out on bread and drink wine. Afternoon well spent we think!
If you would like to book a table or check out the full menu – head on over to the website and take a look.
