Where to get a donut sandwich in Eastbourne
Yes you read that correctly a donut sandwich. Specifically a donut breakfast sandwich. We went to Honeybee Donuts on Bank Holiday Monday for a build your own donut, but the food sounded great so we thought we’d give that a little test.
The 2 filling choices that you had were – a donut sausage sandwich, which comes with 2 plain donuts, one poached egg, mozzarella, rocket and vegetable crisps. Your other option is the crispy bacon donut sandwich. Inside that you’ll find 2 plain donuts, crispy bacon, one poached egg, vegetable crisps and maple syrup on the side.
We were sold as soon as we heard that maple syrup was involved.
Both sandwich options were great but we definitely loved the crispy bacon one the MOST. Definitely recommend giving them a try.
Both options are priced at £8.50, which is great for 2 donuts we thought.
