Burgers and freakshakes are pretty high up there in our reader requests, so today we decided to give you a little guide to what Eastbourne has to offer in the burger and freakshake market. We’ve rounded up the 3 best places to get your burger and freakshake fix, although we are unsure how you are able to eat both in one sitting. We’ve tried and we’ve failed miserably, but practice makes perfect right? So first up we have our favourite burger place in Eastbourne – Old Dave’s
Burgers and Freakshakes at Old Dave’s Burger Co
We love Old Dave’s – it is our favourite burger place – it really is. If you haven’t been yet, you need to get yourself down there ASAP. If you only visited when it opened – again you need to get yourself there ASAP. The menu has come along way since the very beginning. It’s the only place we’ve ever had or seen a roast dinner burger and the sides are simply amazing. The only downside to Old Dave’s is that we never manage to eat everything as we order way too many goodies. Just look at those freakshakes below. Perfect for any choccy fans, or of course the kiddos. We’re sure they’d enjoy these ones.

Burgers and Freakshakes at the Harvester
We have to admit, we don’t often venture down to the Harvester – ever. Well unless we just want pudding and they have a great selection of those. The burgers aren’t anything to write home about – they are good, not amazing – average. The freakshakes however – just look at them. I mean we’re sold whenever we see anything with Oreos in, so the middle freakshake would definitely be on our hot list. Aaaaaaaaaand they have candy floss ones – how amazing is that! Guess where we will be going at the weekend!

Burgers and Freakshakes at Harleywood Diner
Seriously, just look at that burger – it looks absolutely amazing and we’ll definitely be attempting that at some point this Summer. We’ve been on our holidays this year already, so no bikini diet needed (ha ha). They do a fabulous burger here and the chips are just the way we like them. Also how Charlie and the Chocolate Factory do those freakshakes look? AMAZING! The two on the left hand side are honeycomb and the two on the right are brownies. We know which one we would choose. What about you?
