A small shoebox can have a big impact on a child’s Christmas
It’s that time of year again, when the shoebox appeal is live. The Love in a Box appeal cut off date is November 18th this year. For those of you who do not know what Love in a Box is – it’s where you wrap a normal sized shoe box full of gifts for a child (you can pick an age group and a gender) you can find out all that you need to know about Love in a Box here. It’s a great cause and can make a huge difference to the child that receives it.
If you don’t have time to fill a box, you can pay for a pre made box online for the cost of £20 and they will do everything for you. If you want to donate towards a shoebox you can do so here.
The local drop off point for your shoeboxes this year is Caffe Nero on Terminus Road. They are taking donations now and will be up until the 18th of November. Each box requires a donation towards postage – but you can find that information on the website here.
