What’s on the box this week – 21.01.19
Monday 21st January
BBC1; Silent Witness, 9pm
It’s episode 5 of Silent Witness and this week see’s the solving a murder case in Brighton of all places. So tune in to see if you can guess where they are throughout the episode.
ITV; Cold Feet, 9pm
Second show of the new season and we hope that we start to like this me. We were a bit disappointed with last weeks episode, but we have high hopes for this weeks.
Tuesday 15th January
E4; Charmed, 9pm
We’ll probably be putting this show on this list every single week ladies and gents. It’s certainly not the Charmed that we grew up with, but we’re going to give this one a good chance and a few more episode before we decide on whether it is worth it or not.
Comedy Central; Sex and the City 2, 9pm
Not SATC at it’s best, but Sex and the City 2 is perfect for a lazy Tuesday night. The girls take a trip to Abu Dhabi where Carrie’s past catches up with her.
Wednesday 23rd January
BBC1; Danny Dyer’s Right Royal Family, 9pm
We’ve seen the adverts for this show and it looks absolutely hilarious. We do love Danny Dyer though, so we would say that either way. Follow Danny Dyer as he uncovers his family tree in this two part series.
E!; Botched, 10pm
100% one of our guilty pleasures. Absolutely loved Botched. For those of you who have never watched and are slightly squeamish – give this show a miss as you see plastic surgery as it happens. We love it – you see how badly plastic surgery can go when you do not do enough research about who will be carrying out your procedure.
Thursday 17th January
Sky Atlantic; Tin Star, 9pm
If you loved the first season, which we did, you will be happy to know that season 2 is starting tonight! Yay! Tune in to see where it goes next.
W; Embarrassing Bodies, 9pm
Todays episode is in Ibiza. Dr Christian Jessen heads to Ibiza to tackle the issues of too much sun, sea and sex.
Friday 18th January
E4; Dumb and Dumber To, 9pm
Jim Carey doing what he does best and Jeff Daniels at his side. Another funny movie for them both, but you just can’t beat the first one. Definitely worth a watch though.
BBC1; The Graham Norton Show, 10.35pm
Tonight you will hear from Judi Dench, Kenneth Branagh, Anthony Joshua, Noomi Rapace and Greg Davies. We’re tuning in for Judi Dench and Grey Davies.
Saturday 19th January
E4; This Means War, 9pm
Tom Hardy and Chris Pine – we need say no more. Pop it on the planner now.
ITV2; Casino Royale, 9pm
Just incase you didn’t see casino Royale the last 500 times that it has been on recently. You can watch it again tonight.
Sunday 20th January
C5; Me Before You, 9pm
Do not watch if you are feeling in any way shape or form emotional – so perhaps give it a miss if you are still hungover. This story follows a young lady, who becomes a carer for a wealthy banker who was left paralysed after an accident. It follows their story, how they fall in love and how their lives change.
