What we’ve been binge watching during lockdown
We promise, we have done more than just watch TV in lockdown, but we have it on in the background so we get through a lot. And we’re TV people, we love it.
The Good Doctor
The Good Doctor is based around a young doctor who has autism. He shares his struggles with socially interacting, how he overcomes relationships, find love etc. It’s very similar to other hospital dramas, but with a twist. Really love it.
Station 19
Station 19 is a cross over with Greys Anatomy. The characters appear in both shows, because some of the fire fighters are dating some of the doctors. We love it and are waiting for a new episode of season 3 each week.
The Rookie
Obsessed with this show – nearly as much as S.W.A.T. It follows a new police officer who joins the force in his 40s. It’s funny, it keeps you on the edge of your seat and we love every second of it.
Greys Anatomy
Like many people we stopped watching Greys Anatomy when our fave character died. Sob! Which was many seasons a go. Instead of starting where we left off, we’ve gone straight in at the new season, which is great so far. We’ll probably go back and watch all of the seasons we have missed, but we’re not emotionally stable enough to re-live said fave characters death just yet.
S.W.A.T
This is honestly one of our favourite shows right now. Every episode has a different story with the same S.W.A.T team. It’s really great and literally watched all the episodes – there are a lot – in like a week. It helps that Shemar Moore is the lead in it as well. He might have something to do with it.
Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector
this one, so far has give us nightmares, but it’s a really great show. Only 4 episodes are available so far and it is based on the book/movie The Bone Collector. The name is of a name of a serial killer, who plays mind games with a detective who has dedicated his life to try and find him.
Defending Jacob
Chris Evans stars in this as a lawyer who’s sone gets accused of murder. He tries to prove his sons innocence whilst overcoming a lot of brick walls in trying to do so. Only 5 episodes in so far and love it.
Dead To Me
This is just such an easy watch. We watched the whole second season in one day. Dead to me carries on from season one, the strange friendships, deaths, murders and not to mention the cliff hanger! Wow!
Working Moms’
Didn’t expect to like this one, but turns out we do. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Mum or not, you can still enjoy it. We laughed pretty much all the way through and cringes A.L.O.T! This one is on Netflix.
Never Have I Ever
This one is a coming of age kinda TV show in Netflix. Following the life on an Indian girl in highschool and all the drama that follows. It’s actually pretty funny.
Tiger King
It’s super weird. The first few episodes are boring which made us switch off wondering what on earth everyone in the world is going on about when they say it’s good. But persevere – we promise you’ll get it.
What we didn’t like …
Normal People
Honestly didn’t get the hype. We watched a whole 6 episodes and wondered if it got any better? But we decided to end it there. Loads of people have said it’s amazing so don’t disregard it, but it wasn’t for us.
