What to watch on the box this week – 13.4.20
Monday 13th April
BBC1; The Nest, 9pm
A couple aren’t able to have a baby on their own, so they look into surrogacy. It didn’t sound that appealing to us, but we were bored because lockdown and now we’re hooked. If you’ve not watched any episodes yet, there are a few for you to catch up on. Enjoy.
Tuesday 14th April
BBC1; Our Girl, 9pm
Michelle Keegan – need we say anymore. This season is pretty good and it’s just about to get better.
Wednesday 15th April
Sky Atlantic; Save Me, 9pm
Episode 3 of the new season. Nelly takes Grace into hiding and her memories of the previous night surface. Meanwhile, Bernie has an awful decision to make.
ITV2; Jaws 2, 9pm
The seaside resort of Amity is terrorised once again by a man-eating great white shark.
Thursday 16th April
Film4; Independence Day: Resurgence, 9pm
It’s not the best sequel, but have a watch anyways. Also Liam Hemsworth is in it. Two decades have passed since Earth was saved from an extraterrestrial invasion, and in the years since, the aliens’ salvaged technology has been used to transform the world.
Friday 17th April
Sky1; Manifest, 9pm
Season 2 is back and stranger than ever. The Stones reel from a devastating shooting, while the Major attempts to tighten her grip on the unwitting Saanvi.
Saturday 18th April
ITV 4; The Wolf of Wall Street, 10pm
Such a great movie, you have to watch it. It’s also hilarious. A New York stockbroker rises from unemployment to become one of the richest men in the city’s financial elite through an illegal scheme to defraud investors.
Sunday 19th April
BBC1; Killing Eve, 9.15pm
It’s the first episode of season 3 after the cliff hanger ending of season 2. Who’s dead? Who’s alive? How does it continue? We’ve seen it, it was a good episode. Go and watch it.
