What to expect when you go to The Beacon Shopping Centre
The Beacon Shopping centre has stayed open throughout the Covid 19 situ. However the shops inside have now started to reopen – check out which shops have opened here.
So we now have a reason to go down there. For those of you who are a bit scared to go out, or are unsure about what to expect – this is what The Beacon are doing.
You will see signs up all over the place for the centre itself as well as all of the separate shops inside of the centre.
The most obvious signs are the keep to the left. So whichever way you are walking through the shopping centre you are to keep to the left. Of course whilst social distancing. You will see queue areas outside of some shops. Obviously if there is a queue, join the back of it and wait until a shop assistant tells you that you can come in.
We were in town Monday and the queues weren’t bad at all. The biggest queue being Sports Direct and JD Sports, but they both probably only had about 9 people waiting to get in.
There wasn’t a queue at Primark – we repeat there was not a queue at Primark, but the queue to pay was pretty big. They only have 4 maybe 5 tills open downstairs.
Other than that, just watch out for the people who don’t keep to the left. Social distancing was not really being adhered to in general. Except H&M that was a dream to go in. If you head to H&M, you have to queue and enter through the outside door and you exit through the door that takes you into The Beacon.
Other than that – it was nice being back at the shops. Let us know if you went to The Beacon Shopping Centre and what you thought.
