What to do in Eastbourne this weekend 17.04.21
There are actually things to do in Eastbourne this weekend, how freaking exciting is that! We’ve got a full schedule ahead of us for our 2 days off and they involve lots of food and hangovers. We can’t wait. Anywho here is your Eastbourne Weekend Guide.
Stay at home and watch this new movie: Promising Young Woman
We’ve been waiting for this movie to be released for like a year or something, but it’s finally hitting Sky Cinema – woo hoo! It’s about a woman who seeks revenge for her best friends death, who was a victim of rape. So she decides to live a secret double life at night. Which leads her to attempt to write the wrongs of the past by pretending to be drunk and vulnerable and then confronts the men who try to take advantage of her. The trailer looks fab. Watch here.
Book a table here: The Farm
New owners and the first week of them running the place out of lockdown. We’ve booked to go here. We can’t wait to have a rose that isn’t in our house. You can book your table online here. We’re also having dinner, probably bangers and mash and we’re pretty excited about it.

Visit Eastbourne’s newest hotel with a terrace: Ports Hotel
We’re just gonna call it the black hotel. Which we absolutely LOVE! They have an outdoor terrace that you can now book for drinks and food. Check out their FB page (here) – the food looks delish.

Eat Thai at home
Not ready to go out and start socialising again? Fear not, you can stay at home and get a Little Elephant food box delivered. We’ve tried 3/4 of them now and they are actually incredible. We do not call ourselves great chefs, but these meals were all absolutely delicious and we definitely recommend. More info here.
Hop on the Eastbourne wheel
It’s back. Open every day and your can pre-book your tickets online. For more info click here. Don’t forget your camera – you’ll get some fabulous pictures up there.
Have fun here: Treasure Island Golf
Fancy a laugh – grab some friends and head to Treasure Island golf on the seafront. We love crazy golf. It’s always a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
Treat yourself to our forever faves: Pudding by Post
Our lockdown weekend tradition will continue with weekly trips to Londis on Grove Road to pick up a delicious Pudding by Post. Is it sad that this is the highlight of our week!! So so good!
