We tried the Foreo UFO 2 to see if it’s worth the hype
With everything closed especially salons, we’ve been looking for ways to still get salon treatments at home, which has led us to the Foreo UFO 2 – heavily influenced by Instagram of course. We were curious and wanted to test it out for ourselves.
What is the Foreo UFO 2? It’s a new futuristic way to mask. It has been designed to offer you a range of treatments and also target your skin concerns. The Foreo device super quick and efficient, just taking 90 seconds. You have to use the masks that Foreo makes to get the full benefits and they have many on offer depending on what you want to treat. We tested out the Make My Day mask, which is for hydrating and anti pollutions. And also the Call it a Night Mask, which is a nourishing and revitalising mask with ginseng and olive oil.
Each mask and each treatment comes with a combination of temperature and pulsation intensity for maximum benefit. The device also switches between cold and warm to lift and firm the skin. Included in the 90 second treatment you also get LED light therapy. You will receive different coloured lights for different treatments, which help with different concerns. The device also connects to your smart phone and it talks you through what to do, how fast to do it and what movements to make. Super easy and we wish the treatment went on for longer tbh. It felt so lovely and the warm part of it was so soothing and relaxing. Not to mention how incredible your skin feels afterwards.
It is a bit spenny, but when you count how many facial appointments that you will be missing, it makes up for it. We love it and using it for the forseable future. The next mask on the list to try is the manuka honey one, which has plumping and hydrating ingredients to reduce the appearance of fine lines.
