We had a burger at Cru and here is what we thought
We headed on down to Cru a couple of weeks a go on a Saturday night. It was for a birthday, so not strictly a review, but we just couldn’t help but share with you all. We opted for the Cru Wagyu burger. Which consists of hand minced prime Wagyu chuck patty (yes please), crispy king crab wonton, seaweed salad, wasabi mayonnaise and a black onion seed bun.
IT WAS DELICIOUS. The burger meat itself was cooked perfectly. If you want it well done – let the waitress know as we didn’t mention how we wanted it (we love burgers anyway that they come). The crispy king crab wonton tasted a little bit like stuffing and we are kind of unsure what it actually was, but it was brilliant and a great little something extra. It went perfectly with all the burger extras.
The burger and chips were £18.50 and worth every single penny. We would definitely recommend this to anyone wondering what to order at Cru.
We did however, get serious food envy and as much as we LOVED this burger – we wish we had the pork belly as it looked so amazing. At least we know what we will be having next time.
Also if you’re in the mood for pudding – get the cheese you won’t be disappointed.
