Veganuary menu at Bill’s
With so many people taking part in Veganuary this year we thought we’d share some of the menus that are out for this month and let you know about our favourite dishes.
We went to Bill’s on Saturday to try a dish on the Veganuary menu and the vegetarian menu, but this post is about the vegan dish.
We decided to go for the wellington, which was carrot cashew nut and mushroom wellington served with butter bean mash, broccoli and vegetable gravy.
It was absolutely delicious. We didn’t miss out on the meat at all – which we thought would happen. We’ve also never tried vegetable gravy before and it was so tasty. The butter bean mash was so full of flavour and we might actually prefer it to normal mash.
There were plenty of other options to choose from as well and if we go back in time to have more meals from the Veganuary menu, we would definitely try the mushroom and tarragon suet pudding as that looks pretty good.
