What to cosy up and watch on the sofa this week 

Monday 11th March
ITV; Cheat, 9pm
If the adverts for Cheat are anything to go by – you need to watch it.
Tonight is the first epsiode, so stop what you’re doing and press record now. University lecturer Dr Leah Dale notices that a  final year student Rose Vaughan submits a suspiciously top-grade essay, Leah is quick to call her out. But there’s more going on than meets the eye as Rose takes the challenge as a personal affront, and what begins as a seemingly open-and-shut case of academic deception soon spirals out of control. 

Tuesday 12th March
C4; Derry Girls, 9.15pm
You have to watch this show just so you don’t feel left out. Everyone is talking about it. New English teacher Ms De Brún (Judith Roddy) arrives at Our Lady Immaculate and the friends immediately find themselves inspired. Meanwhile, Da Gerry attempts to take Ma Mary out on a date to the cinema, where things definitely don’t go according to plan, and Sister Michael takes charge of a precious Child of Prague statue.

Wednesday 13th March 
BBC1; MotherFatherSon, 9pm
If you missed last weeks episode, go and watch it ASAP and then watch this weeks episode. This weeks sees their son fighting for his life in hospital. The episode explores the couples relationship as they battle for control of their sons future.

Thursday 14th March 
ITV4; Rocky, 8pm
This movie needs no introduction, but we love it, so we will be watching it. Such a great way to sped a Thursday night.

Friday 15th March
BBC1; Comic Relief, 7pm
Nothing else to watch to be watching on a Friday night. Hosted by a variety of presenters, including Lenny Henry, Paddy McGuinness, Emma Willis, Romesh Ranganathan, Rob Beckett, Alesha Dixon, Clara Amfo, Zoe Ball, Joe Sugg and David Tennant.

Saturday 16th March
Film4; Lucy, 9pm
A courier is kidnapped and forced to become a drug mule. When she is exposed to the experimental chemicals she is smuggling, it boosts her intelligence and reflexes to superhuman levels. She uses her newfound abilities to get revenge on her captors, but as the process continues, she evolves into something more than human.
