We all know that Eastbourne loves and Italian restaurant. So we thought that we would share our favourite ones to venture into at the weekend. If you have any favourites that you think we should review or that should make the list, then please let us know. Happy eating.
1. Simply Italian
We really like the range of food that is served here and they perhaps have the best pasta dishes out of them all. They also offer gluten free on some types of pasta for just and extra £1, which is fine by us. It’s also a great stop before the cinema for a glass of wine and some garlic bread. You can read our full review here.
2. Solo pasta
This is such a cute little restaurant that we think is perhaps a little bit forgotten. As kids, we went here with our parents. They are very very child friendly and the food is yummy. Try the spaghetti – its so good. Image here.
3. Pablo’s
What better place to go when the sun is shining that Eastbourne harbour, sitting out in the sunshine, drinking wine and eating yummy pasta. Pablo’s is a firm favourite for the well priced food, the friendly staff and they don’t judge when you order pasta and chips! You can read our review here and you will find all the menu details and telephone number for booking by clicking here.
4. Pomodoro e Mozzarella
The best tagliattelli pasta dish around and they don’t mind adding broccoli for strange eaters like us. They also have fabulous puddings and don’t mind you decorating a little bit for birthday parties and they also don’t mind the kiddos making a mockery of the place, with some very near misses of waiters ending up on the floor. You can read about our last trip to the restaurant here.
5. Prezzo
The biggest pizzas around! Seriously that are massive. There starter portions are quite big also _ we can’t remember what we had last time we were there, but we effectively had pizza for starters and a giant pizza for a main. We like pizza so thats ok, but be warned.
