” Look where we’re opening our new restaurant and bar! Yes, on 11th May we launch ‘Light’ at Towner Eastbourne — a whole new style of dining and socialising for Eastbourne.
We’ve reimagined the gallery’s former café to make the most of its tall ceilings, terrace and skyline views, with new interiors and a horseshoe bar.
The name reflects the airiness of the new space, its casual atmosphere and style of food and drink — and its rolling menu features ‘smørrebrød’ (the indulgent Scandinavian-style open sandwich) and beautifully created, and locally-sourced plates, ideal for all-day dining and sharing.

We’ll be serving breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea from Tuesdays to Sundays (as well as bank holiday Mondays) and an early evening set menu, sundowners and dinner on Thursdays and Saturdays. ”
