The Redoubt is set to open a cinema this May
This cinema with be in a refurbished casemate – for those of you who have no idea what the heck that is – don’t panic, we’ve got you covered.
Wikipedia says “A casemate is a fortified gun emplacement or armored structure from which guns are fired.[1] Originally, the term referred to a vaulted chamber in a fortress. In armoured fighting vehicles that do not have a turret for the main gun, the structure that accommodates the gun is termed the casemate.”
You would be able to see movies such as Chicago, Evita, Moulin Rouge and Jersey Boys.
The cinema will be opening in May, but you can already book tickets online here.
