The Eastbourne Charity Shop Line

So starting at the top of Grove Rd you’ve got

The Oxfam Bookshop
They have a really good selection, obviously stock will be different each time you go in, but we always manage to find what we’re looking form.

Age Concern
We mainly head here for photo frames, candle holders and sometimes we get lucky with crystal finds.

The Samaritans
Across the road from Age Concern you will find The Samaritans. This one is set up more like a boutique. More expensive that any of the other charity shops, but having said that we have found some great bargains on candelabras and bric and brac items. They always have a large selection of clothes in as well.

The British Red Cross
Back to the other side of the road now you will find the British Red Cross.
They get weekly deliveries from Zara and Bershka with stock from the last couple of years.

Alice Croft House
Great for bric and brac, glasses, tableware you name it, they’ve probably got it.
This one is cash only.

Mind
We always manage to find incredible vintage candle holders on every visit.
Not paid too much attention to anything else really, but the clothes section always looks pretty busy.

Marie Curie
They always have a great selection of everything, but we’ve found the best photo frames in this shop. Prices are all incredible as well. Staff are always so lovely as well.

Shelter
Home to the little yorkie. Also a very good selection if stuff to sort through. Some weeks are better that others, but it’s obviously donation dependant. We’ve picked up a few art books from here as well as candle holders and crystal bowls.

PDSA
Probably the most expensive charity shop in Eastbourne, maybe on par with The Samaritans.
Really good selection of clothes and kids toys. We even saw a labrador pop in, pick up a toy, pay for it and leave.

Chestnut Tree House
Full of all sorts and a great selection. Something for everyone in this one.

British Heart Foundation
When you the Chestnut tree, you’ll find this one across the street from it.
Another one with a good selection of all things. Although there stock doesn’t seem to change as much as others.

St Wilfrid’s Hospice
Back to the other side of the road to the St Wilfred’s Hospice. This charity shop has recently had a refurb and is now set up boutique style.
We’ve not got much from here recently, but it is always worth a look.

Oxfam
Great for clothes and bric and brac. Also if you’re lucky you will find some brilliant prices mirrors. We always find nice maxi dresses in there as well.

WRAS
The WRAS is a treasure trove. There are things everywhere you look and also a second floor. You never know what you’ll find.

British Heart Foundation Home Store
Great if you’re looking for any new furniture. Some items are great value for money. Others are not, but always worth the look.

Demelza
We’ve not found anything in this one except a copy of Harry Potter. It may be for a slightly older age range.

If you’re not all charity shopped out, you can take a trip back down to BN21 (unsure what it is called right now) and then take a right down Pevensey rd and you will find the Salvation Army.

Salvation Army
There is stuff EVERYWHERE in the double shop front.
If you’re looking for photo frames this is the place for you. The have book shelves full. Stock is of course dependant on donations, like they all are, but some weeks you hit the jackpot. Vases, teacups, plates, candle holders, bedside tables. You name it. The prices are also incredible.

Let us know if you have a fave charity shop in Eastbourne that isn’t in the centre of town.
