We don’t know about you, but we live for the warmer weather and are ridiculously excited by the reports of a mini heatwave coming our way. Whether it does or not, we will find out fairly shortly. However with that in mine here are our top places to be pin Eastbourne during the warmer weather. Some of them are incredibly obvious, as ya know, we live by the sea.
1. Eastbourne Seafront
See we told you it was obvious. Eastbourne Seafront is one of our favourite places to be when there is a heatwave. Sunshine, Sea and Sand the 3 most important components of Summer right? Be sure to get there earlier, so you can get yourself a good spot.
2. The Waterfront
You get to feel like you’re on holiday in your own town – a stay cation. Enjoy the yummy restaurants with fantastic views and fabulous people. Read our many review here.
3. ZiZi’s
Enjoy a lovely dinner outside watching the sun go down in Eastbourne town centre. Pizza and Rose, the most perfect way to celebrate Summer. Read our review here.
4. Bill’s
Go to Bill’s at any time of the day to enjoy their outdoor seating and most importantly their amazing food and yummy champagne. Get there early or book to avoid disappointment – outside seating is limited. You can read our review here.
5. Fusciardi Ice Cream Parlour
Warm weather of course calls for ice cream. No matter how old or young you are – ice cream is an absolute must especially for a lovely Summers evening stroll.
6. Princes Park
Take the kiddos to Princes Park to enjoy the kids play area with paddling pool. If you don’t have kids, just go to sunbathe.
7. Crazy Golf At Treasure Island
Or Pirates Adventure Gold if you are avid golfers. It’s surprisingly a lot of fun – who knew.
8. Pay a visit to Blackberry Farm
We love a farm, especially in the sunshine. The play area is fantastic, you get to feed the animals and most importantly you get to eat – we like to eat. You can read our review here.
9. Take a picnic to Gildredge Park
Or just eat the cakes at the cafe. It’s a lovely day out, lots of free space to play (if your that way inclined) and plenty of space for picnicking. Just watch out for those annoying tiny little flies.
