We mentioned Amy’s cafe in a post this week already (4 places to eat in Eastbourne this week), so we took our own advice and headed on down to Amy’s cafe this morning. And we’re so glad that we did …..
Amy’s cafe: What you need to know
You’ll find Amy’s cafe on Seaside – opposite the Nail Fairy. Parking is a pain, but it isn’t far to walk from town or the beach. They are child friendly and we mean that – super friendly. They also have a little play section for the kids to get up to no good, like eating crayons and what not. You Mums know the drill. Also an absolute bonus – the prices are so reasonable! Like ridiculously reasonable – we were surprised – so it’s almost an excuse to go every single day.
Amy’s cafe: The food
Oh the food – it is insane! Everything on the menu is a must try and we don’t take that statement lightly. Next week we will be going down for the egg Avo on toast and the next time we’ll be having the loaded sweet potato fries and the next week …… ha ha …… can you see where we’re going with this?! Anyways today we went for American style pancakes with a side of bacon and maple syrup. If you’re a pancake fan you need to hop on down and try them. They are freshly made and they taste so good you won’t want to stop eating, even if you are full. Just amazing! The best pancakes ever!
Amy’s cafe: The drinks
We didn’t try anything unusual in the drink stakes. Pot of tea and a diet coke was on our agenda. However whilst we were there – so me girls ordered great looking milkshakes. We suggest you go and try one of those. That is also on our list of things to eat, but we can’t fit in a massive milkshake and a meal in one sitting, no matter how hard we tried.
Amy’s cafe: Opening hours
Mon – Sun 8.30am – 5.30pm
