The Best Cheap Eats For Students In Eastbourne

The best cheap eats for students in Eastbourne

The Little Elephant

This Thai restaurant is AMAZING for those of you students who are new to Eastbourne. It’s not too far from uni and they do a great lunch deal. Two courses for £6.95, if we remember correctly. The Pad Thai is incredible as is the curried sea bass. Also they do a great selection if rice, that you have to try.

Nandos

This is a given really – where you have a Nandos, you will find students. The food is a bargain and a great place to go for a yummy lunch with friends without spending your whole student loan on one meal! Nothing more needs to be said here ha ha!

Mama Mi’

We went to Mama Mi this weekend for the first time ever and it was brilliant. One of the best Italian’s we’ve ever been to and probably the best most authentic Italian in Eastbourne. The pizzas are around £9 and bigger than the one above. They also have a buffet which looks delicious, but we have yet to try.
Also if you’re trying to be all trendy – you’ll be able to grab yourself an Aperol here also.
You will find Mama Mi on Facebook here.

Nelson

This place is incredible and again, not too pricey. Even is you’re coming to end of your student loan just one day after Freshers week (it happens to us all), you’ll still want to spend your pennies in Nelsons because the food is just so incredible. We recommend a veggie breakfast (we’re not even veggies) and the eggs benny is the best you will find in Eastbourne and most things are under a tenner. They also have lunch specials available, but to find out more about those, you’ll need to head on over to the website here. Also if you’re trying to find somewhere for the gram – this is the place.

7Bone Burger Co
They have basket deals here and they do burger and chips, hot dog and chips, toasties and chips. We’ve never been disappointed and if you love halloumi you have to try the Dirty Linda – it is delicious! The red basket deals which include a burger and a normal side start at £10.95. Although we suggest you upgrade for a dirty side (£12.95) as they are so worth it.
