The 10 stages of shopping in Primark
1. I’m just going to pop in for some socks
We all go in with good intentions, but it all goes wrong as soon as we step foot inside Primark
2. Oh Look Game of Thrones PJs
Game of Throes PJs, yes I need these for when I rewatch all the seasons, oh and look Aladdin PJs. I absolutely must have those as well.
3. I NEED THAT
Um that bikini is amazing ….. and I might go on holiday this year, oooooooh a light yellow denim jacket – yup i’ve been looking for one of those. In the basket you go.
4. I’m not getting undressed for just one item, how many can we bring in at once?
The queue is so long and i’m not mentally prepared to go in with one item, so I better go and find some other Spring dresses to make it worth my while.
5. I’ll just try it on, it probably won’t fit anyways
WHAT IS THIS? Everything fits. I’ll just take it all, it really is such a bargain.
6. I’ll just check out the homeware section before I leave
Yup the homeware section is calling my name. I can smell the candles, I need all the candles. Oh look a Mickey Mouse mug – need that. A wire basket – i’ll take 3. Oooooooh I could do with a couple more blankets – just incase.
7. Wow thats a lot of stuff in my basket
I need it all – I couldn’t possibly take it all back. Everything is a necessity, including those fairy lights. Maybe I could leave the Harry Potter notebook. that’s £4, yea, i’ll leave that.
8. Go to pay and spent £150
EVERY.SINGLE.TIME without fail.
9. What! How? I only went in for a £3 pair of socks
How, how, how?
10. Got my whole Summer wardrobe sorted
Ah who cares, it’s only Primark, if it was Topshop I would have spend at least £500, so technically i’ve saved.
