We’re so lucky to live where we live as we have so much to do, right at our doorstep.
A little trip to Rathfinny being one of those things. We love to visit on a sunny day to have a bottle of bubbles outside whilst overlooking the vineyard.
So we thought we’d let you know about a fun experience that they have going on at the vineyard.
A sushi and fizz experience!
The event will be happening on April 27th
The experience begins with a guided tour of the Estate, including a behind-the-scenes visit to the winery, where the sparkling wines are meticulously crafted. Now if you don’t think this is your thing, let us tell you that this guided tour is so interesting and will give you lots of fun facts that you’ll never know what you’ll need to use.
Afterwards, you can enjoy a tasting of four Rathfinny Sussex Sparkling wines, perfectly paired with a selection of handmade sushi.
Grown just three miles from the sea, the wines boast a natural freshness and subtle salinity that make them a perfect match for Japanese cuisine (one of the fun facts). During the event, an expert will guide you through how each wine complements different sushi styles.
