You might remember this place as being Coopers back in the day – no idea how far back in the day, however we’ve just realised the name change thanks to a lovely reader. Thanks Sue. Anyhow – as we have now added a tab called Sunday Roasts – we thought we better get updating – so here we have a yummy Sunday Roast at The Holly Blue in Stone Cross. We went everywhere in Eastbourne to find a place at the Roast Dinner Inn and got turned away each time and told to come back in two hours! Uh we’re hungry now – so off we went and ended up here. There were seats – we – didn’t have to wait and we got to pile on as many roast potatoes as we could fit on our plate – in this instance it was 7 – 1 fell off. You get to choose a plate size – small, medium and large. Small for the kiddies, medium for the ladies and large for the men – we’re just kidding – we went for large. You can read the menu online here. The only down side to this place – no cauliflower and cheese and not enough stuffing! Stuffing is a ration – le sigh! However we still stuffed our faces and thoroughly enjoyed eating until we couldn’t move. The worst part – the puddings look absolutely fantastic, yet we had no belly room left.
