How to spend a day at Eastbourne Beach
Breakfast at The Holywell Tea Chalet
Breakfast with a view and a great way to start the day. You can enjoy a full english or just a bacon baguette and the prices are really great. All outside in the sunshine, whilst taking in the beautiful view of the sea.

Rent a Kayak or Paddle Board
You can rent a kayak or paddle board on Eastbourne seafront, which is perfect for when the sea is flat and inviting. We’ve heard that you can’t book, you just have to turn up on the day and see what is available. Prices start at £10 and you can find them just under The Wish Tower.
Fish & Chips at The Holiday Inn
For some a day at the beach includes fish and chips. We love chippy and highly recommend taking the little walk away from the beach to get your chippy lunch at The Holiday Inn on Carlisle Road. We’ve been going here since we were little and we wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Rent a Deck Chair
If you’re and old school beach style visitor – you will be happy to know that you can rent deck chairs on Eastbourne Beach. They have a pay machine, much like paying for parking. So you just pay and sit and enjoy the sunshine. Slightly more comfortable that lying on the stones we’re sure. If we remember correctly they are available for £2 per day.
Ice Cream at Fusciardi’s
No day at the beach is complete without an ice cream and we always go to Fusciardi’s, or the little kiosks on the beach, depending on how lazy we are being. Fusciardi’s do some fabulous ice cream flavours and well worth the effort to walk those extra steps to.
