Fancy giving me one of these food challenges a go?
The Rodmill pub seem to have quite a few food challenges for you all to try out. They have 5 available and if you give the food challenge a try, you get 25% off of your food. If you manage to EAT everything you get yourself a nice little certificate (ha ha). Anyways back to these challenges, they do look absolutely epic tbh.
First up you have the Chick ‘n’ Mix challenge
Which includes 6 Louisiana-style chicken strips, 5 battered chicken balls, 6 chicken wings, a southern fried chicken skewer and a chicken skewer. Served with a large portion of seasoned fries, 2 corn on the cobs, 2 garlic bread slices, coleslaw, dressed salad leaves, baked beans in BBQ sauce with Jack Daniel’s, sweet chilli and Texan-style BBQ sauce.
Next there is the Rib-A-Saurus challenge
That includes a giant rack of smoked pork ribs coated in Texan-style BBQ glaze, served with a large portion of seasoned fries, 2 corn on the cobs, coleslaw and baked beans in BBQ sauce with Jack Daniel’s.
The third challenge is the Mac Xcalibur – which we like the sound of the most.
In that challenge you will find 3 chicken schnitzels; two topped with smoked streaky bacon mac-n-cheese and drizzled with Texan style BBQ sauce. One topped with jalapeno mac ‘n’ cheese and piri piri, and skewered with a southern fried chicken skewer. Served with a large portion of chips and 2 corn on the cobs.
The Big Mexican would be a close second option for us, it sounds so good.
4 flame-grilled beef burgers with cheese topped with beef burnt ends chilli con came. TABASCO Scorpion Sauce in a bun with mayo. baby gem lettuce tomato and red onion, and skewered with a flame-grilled chilli. Served with a generous portion of tortilla chips and seasoned fries loaded with nacho cheese sauce. tomato salsa pico de gallo, sour cream and jalapenos.
Lastly we have the Who Dares Wings.
And that includes 25 wings with a sour cream dip. 5 tossed in each flavour of the following – Texas style BBQ, piri piri, sweet chilli, spicy dry rub and tobasco scorpion sauce.
