Why we switched from a cleanser to a balm
This wasn’t an intended switch, but we had been dying to try the Elemis cleansing balm after reading a 100 billion things about it. The thing that drew us to it the most, was the fact that it seemed to literally melt the make up right off of your face in one swipe. What a dream.
It actually did do that, so we continued to use it every single night – in the morning we’re all currently trying out a cleansing oil by Elemis, but that is for another post. It smells like an actual spa – which is such a great smell, can’t get enough of it.
After using the balm for a couple of weeks we realised that our skin textures had changed. One reported a softer smoother feeling, another said make up is going on like a dream where it used to be cakey and the usual Winter skin issues were non existent.
Soooooo, we’re going to dub this a miracle product, we kid you not, it is worth it’s weight in gold and we would pay double for the cleansing balm if we had to – excuse us while we throw all of our cleansers in the bin.
