This isn’t even remotely new, but we have only just discovered that there is a Five Guys down at Brighton Marina. Obviously, as soon as we heard, we went straight down to the marina to eat the most talked about burger and finally be able so say – no that’s not worth the hype, or that was AMAZING. Incase you were wondering it was AMAZING. It’s not cheap for essentially a McDonalds – Our meal per person was just under £14. However, we loved it, would go again and would happily pay double.
The chips were great – we went with cajun seasoning on ours – MUST DO THAT when you go. You get to build your own burger – which seriously confused us as there was a cheeseburger on the menu, we we ordered that and they wanted to know what else! We don’t believe in vegetables in a burger – tomato and pickle can do on! We opted for ketchup and randomly mushrooms, which we’d probably leave out next time.
They also do hot dogs – which we 100% must try next time we go down! If anyones tried them send us your thoughts – we want to know if they are good or bad!
Just a heads up for the girls when ordering – they have just a burger or cheese burger on the menu and then underneath they have a little burger and little cheese burger. We thought the little burgers were from the kids menu, but they aren’t they are just a one burger burger and the normal burgers are the two burger burgers. We have a 2 burger burger, we may just have the one burger burger next time.
Also – anyone with a peanut allergy – they cook everything in peanut oil so you might want to give that a swerve.
