Post lockdown wedding rules
Strange times aren’t they. Especially for all of you planning your wedding for this year.
- Only 30 people are allowed to attend – this includes the couple, guests and 3rd party suppliers, but not venue or catering staff
- Face coverings are advised, not compulsory, but obviously no need to wear them when seated at table and eating
- Social distancing rules must be adhered to
- Hands must be washed before exchanging rings
- Avoid singing
- No first dance allowed and no dancing in general
- Sit down meal and wedding receptions are allowed
- No throwing of the bouquet and no confetti
- Vows and speeches must not be in a raised voice, but can be amplified if need be
- Cake cutting is back on, but socially distanced, so guests will probably be asked to remain seated
- The venue will keep your deets for 21 days incase they need to be traced
- Minimising of card and gift exchanging – suggested leave on a table when arrive and to be untouched during reception
