So we’ve been scouring Pinterest for different ways to eat cheese – because we love cheese – and we came across this goats cheese dip! It looked yummy, it had goats cheese and it involved just one pan which is a big yes in our books.

You Will Need:
Tin of chopped tomatoes – 400g
1 onion chopped
2 garlic cloves chopped
Pinch salt
Pinch pepper
Olive oil
Chilli flakes
Goats Cheese – I used one small brick around 125g and cut it in half
French bread

To make this recipe you’ll need a small skillet/ Griddle – we bought this one from Sainsburys as it was on sale at 50% off.

Pop your oven on at 180. Heat the oil in the skillet on a medium heat (we did this on a high heat so we ruined the first lot) and the chop up the onions and garlic whilst that is heating up.

Add the garlic, onions and chilli flakes in with the olive oil and simmer until onions have turned slightly brown. When they have turned slightly brown add in your chopped tomatoes and give it a good stir. You can also add the salt and pepper if you would like to – but it’s not necessary.

Let it simmer until the sauce thickens up a bit or burns (don’t let it burn though – we did – whoops) and give it a stir every now and then.

After your sauce has started to look all saucy – cute the goats cheese brick on half and place in the centre of the skillet/ griddle. You are now ready to pop the skillet in the oven and set the timer to 30 minutes.

After the 30 minutes the cheese should be melted a little bubbly and slightly golden. You can also use the grill if you don’t want to wait 30 minutes – but we don’t know how to use a grill so we can’t give you timings for that.

Serve of a chopping board because it comes out freaking BOILING! So don’t touch. Chop up your bread and enjoy. If for whatever reason you don’t end up finishing the dip you can add it in to a pasta sauce (if you want) it tastes so so so good.

As always if you give this a go we’d love to see the pictures on social media. So give us a tag if you upload them.
