Oh My Goodness at the Enterprise Centre has closed down
Vegan cafe Oh My Goodness has now closed down. Well they announced it way back in July, but we somehow missed it.
The statement on Facebook says
” Having looked at all the options to take me and my family forward from this, I have decided the best thing to do will be to go back to working from home.
I am working on plans to operate a small scale order to collect & local delivery system, with pop up events, vegan out reach events, park picnics and classes to be added as I get rolling again.
I will be prioritising the home education and care of my children, so my time dedicated to Oh My Goodness! activities will be limited – but hopefully this reduced work timetable will give me more energy for fresh ideas and will allow for more enjoyment with an improved work/life balance.
Financially these changes have left me rather pinched, as being a ‘purpose before profit’ business, cash flow has always been very tight.
Luckily I am good at focusing on the silver lining in any situation. More time with my family is more valuable than anything else and I will just have to take any lingering damage from the loss of the cafe on the chin!
When I am ready to begin again I will post updates here, and will leaflet the local area where I will be able to deliver.
I just have to finish some work on my home kitchen and get a little more of the tedious admin out of the way, then I will be good to go!”
