Muffin Break: What You Need To Know
Muffin Break is one of those places that we know where it is, but we always walk past. No for any reason, but it’s just always the way. However we had just been to Primark, it was Saturday and raining and we were in desperate need of a coffee and cake as it turns out.
Muffin Break: The Food
Muffin break has quite a wide selection of cakes, some usual suspects – hello yummy chocolate cake and some fab little cakes, that you wouldn’t have thought of. The cupcakes look fantastic and if we could have eaten anymore we would – but we were stuffed. If it’s your first visit we suggest the carrot cake as it’s fabulous. After trying the chocolate cake, we’d suggest you share it as it’s quite sickly and we all have a sweet tooth, so it’s usually the more sickly sweet the better.
Muffin Break: The Drinks
Now onto the coffees – we had – one caramel latte, one cappuccino and one straight coffee. All were as expected – tasted like coffee – you would never have guessed that. The caramel latte definitely needed a bit more caramel, but nothing an extra sugar couldn’t sort out.
