Finally we were able to get down to Cineworld to watch The Lost City before it stopped showing and boy was it worth the wait.
We laughed our way through the whole movie.
Did we only go because Channing Tatum was in it? Yes, yes we did. He was great – so hilarious – but so was Sandra Bullock. Although we will admit we did spend a lot of the movie wondering how she has managed not to age throughout the years.
The story follows writer Loretta, who is coming to terms with the death of her husband. She doesn’t love her life and stays home most days.
That is until she gets kidnapped on a book tour.
What happens next, we’ll never tell (see what we did there?)
An adventure follows with a love interest a romantic conflict and the usual happy ending.
You’ll leave the cinema smiling from ear to ear and then feel the need to go home and watch Step Up!
