Movie Review: The Jungle Book

the jungle book cineworld eastbourne review
Well what can we say about the jungle book? We all know the story, so we don’t really need to go into that do we?! However we were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Very much like when we went to see the new Cinderella it was very nostalgic. The movie itself only has 1 person in it in the form of 12 year old Neel Sethi as Mowgli. He really does a great job. How he managed to act that whole movie without real animals in front of him we will never know. If you didn’t know much about the Jungle Book and we told you that the animals in the movie were real, we reckon a lot of you would believe us as the CGI is so so good, it’s pretty amazing. We also loved trying to guess which actors were the voices of the animals, we were wrong on so many, but they were all very familiar voices.

For those of you not wanting to sit through a musical – do not panic, they have kept one or two of the songs in the movie, but they are done very well – we promise. We don’t want to tell you which ones as we don’t want to ruin the surprise.

And it’s great to finally understand what mans red flower is – it only took a good 25 years to find that one out!

If you haven’t seen this movie and you liked the original from back in the day you have to see this one.
