Movie Review: Scream
Ghost face is back, but who on earth could he/she be this time!? We are huge fans of the Scream franchise and we were excited to hear that there was going to be a Scream 5 – with the surviving original cast involved. Did we think it would be any good? We were not sure. The previous movies were fantastic – Scream 1 being the best of them all.
Where could it go? Who could be left?
Well Scream fans they found plenty of people the be involved, who were tied to the legacy characters.
Same rules, same premise and so many nods to the previous movies, that Scream fans will notice and love.
The killings are different and more gory than the previous movies. There are touching tributes to the franchises previous director Wes Craven added in as well.
All in all – it’s not the best – number one still stands at that spot – it was however, a great re-quel, with added nostalgia for good measure.
