Movie review: Knives Out
We’ve been waiting for Knives Out to come out for months. We used to love the movie Clue and we thought that this would be kinda like it. Which it is, but it also isn’t. Knives out is a murder mystery comedy.
The plot is basically a who done it style movie.
Daniel Craig has an American accent. Chris Evans plays a character entirely different from Captain America. Toni Collette famous for Muriel’s wedding is also in it, alongside a very strong cast.
The start of the movie see’s a crime novelist host his own birthday party, only for it to end in death. A private detective receives money and a job to come and work out who killed the crime novelist, but he has no idea who hired him.
It seems pretty straight forward – you think you know who done it from the very beginning, but of course that would be too obvious and you then see the story unravel and the truth come out.
It’s not a bad movie at all, but we would have definitely preferred to watch this on Netflix on the sofa.
