Movie review: Cruella
The prequel that we didn’t know we needed. As grown up having grown up with 101 Dalmatians, we were happy to find out what Dalmatian hater Cruella ended up the way that she did.
You find out how she gets her name, how she ended up with black and white hair (natural btw). Why she HATES a dalmatian, how she ended up with so much power in the fashion industry.
The movie was fast paced, fun and funny. We loved every single second of it.
There is a bit at the end of the movie, which you should stay for. Which we won’t spoil, but it is slightly confusing due to the previous 101 dalmatians timeline, but it leaves it very open for a second movie.
We’ve been asked a couple of times now if we think it is acceptable for kids to watch – we don’t have kids. It is a Disney movie. However there is a murder within the first 5 minutes and also an attempted murder within the movie.
