Movie Review: Captain America – Civil War

review of captain america civil war
Probably one of the best Captain America movie yet – although we’d definitely say it was more of an Avengers movie. The amount of new and old characters that come into the mix is fantastic and they literally kick ass! Its not slow paced in any way shape or form , if anything you only want the movie to end because you need a wee. Appearances from Ant- Man (Paul Rudd) and Spider-man (Tom Holland) leave you cracking up.

So what’s Civil War all about? Well the superheroes are no longer being seen as heroes and are in fact being blamed for all the death and destruction caused in the world. The solution to keep the Avengers together is to get them all to sign a treaty of sorts – the Sokovia Accords. They are all torn as to which way they should turn, some retiring, others signing and Captain America (Chris Evans) disagreeing with it all. The team splits in 2, both sides believing that they are in the right and doing what is best for Avengers and the world. We won’t go into anymore detail as it will give away the twist of the story – but just know that it is GOOD!

Our only criticism would be that you don’t really get to see a lot of the bad guy. Not so much of a lead up with him included and he’s again out of the picture just as soon as he was in it.

Also be warned there are 4 extra bits throughout the credits in this movie, so if you want to see them on the big screen, do stay until the lights are up and you are being asked to leave.  Alternatively they are all up online now, so just search on youtube.
