Movie Review: Candyman
After being scared of even saying the word Candyman in real life let alone in front of a mirror, we decided to take the plunge and go to Cineworld to see the latest Candyman movie drop.
Was it as scary as 12 year old us remembers? No.
Was it gross? Yes parts of it.
Will we ever be saying his name in front of a mirror – heck no!
Do we think it’s worth a watch? 100% yes!
It is a horror movie with a meaning behind it, that uses the horror genre to explore race. And some parts literally stopped us in our tracks! Such a good watch and very eye opening in parts.
As always we will leave it brief as you need to go and see it for yourself.
