Movie Of The Week: The Lion King

Movie of the week: The Lion King

We’ve been waiting to see this movie for so long now and we’re happy to inform you that it did not disappoint.

Now we don’t know about you, but we’ve still not managed to watch The Lion King without UGLY CRYING, you all know what we’re talking about. Every time we watch it, we kinda hope that Mufasa doesn’t die and that they all live happily ever after – just like the Titanic – we always hope it magically changes and that Jack got on the stupid door thing. There was space for 2!!!!

The CGI was freaki’ AMAZING – we actually can’t get over it. At one point we were chatting about whether or not some of the footage was real.

It was that realistic

It could have been a nature show with David Attenborough speaking at any moment. Except for the animals talking, that kind of gave it away ha ha!

The hyenas are way more scary than the original movie – these ones were ugly and not even remotely cute – are we the only ones that thought the cartoon hyenas were cute?

Queen B – did a great job as Nala. And we loved the new song Spirit, that you will hear when you go and watch the movie.

It was emotional, it was nostalgic and just absolutely brilliant. Timone and Pumba stole the show entirely.

LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT IT
