Movie of the week – Maleficent: Mistress of Evil
Did Maleficent need a sequel? We weren’t too sure. However after watching it, we can say that yes it did! It was so freaking good we loved every single second of it.
This time the story see’s Queen Aurora of The Moors, get engaged to Prince Philip. This will hopefully see the unity of the 2 kingdoms. Much to the dismay of both Mothers. Maleficent is not pleased by the impending wedding and Prince Philip’s Mum has some severe Mummy issues. Which then play out throughout the rest of the movie.
You will find missing fairies, kidnapped magical creatures, more of Maleficent’s kind. Betrayal. love and forgiveness, plus an angry goat all in one movie
We also can’t believe how Angelina Jolie looks even more beautiful even as Maleficent. Absolutely stunning.
It’s a great watch, but maybe not for the tiny kiddos as some of it is a bit scary. Said by a 7 year old, not us.
