Movie of the week: Little Women
We were blown away by this movie. We’re not even too sure how to review it except to say that we loved every single second of it.
We cried, quite a lot as it goes and we left the cinema wanting to hug our sisters.
The story of Little Women is known by many people, but not us as we refused to read the book when we were younger.
All we knew about the movie was that the girl from Harry Potter was on it and that was that. For those of you who are in the same boat as us. The movie follows the lives of 4 sisters. It switches timelines throughout, which is surprisingly easy to follow. Because of this you get to see the girls grow up, their ambitions, fall in love, fall out of love, get sick, be kind and so much more.
It was such a heart warming movie, albeit very sad in some parts. We cried, three times to be exact, we felt happy when they fell in love, we were super sad when they were sad and we felt inspired when they were inspired. Which, we have to say makes a great movie. It was a great cast, with some fab acting. Definitely worth making the trip to the cinema to watch it. So worth it.
